Cheese Sticks

Ingredients

  • 2 sheets Heritage flaky puff pastry (thawed)

  • 150g cheese, grated

  • 1 tsp dried mixed herbs

  • Cracked black pepper

  • Pinch salt

Method

  1. Place one sheet of Heritage flaky puff pastry onto your workbench.

  2. Mix the remaining ingredients together in a bowl.

  3. Sprinkle ⅔ of the cheese mix over the pastry.  Place the over sheet on top. 

  4. Pat the pastry down to stick the layers together.

  5. Sprinkle over the remaining grated cheese, cover with baking paper and lightly roll over the top to press the cheese into the pastry.

  6. Place in the fridge for 10 minutes.

  7. Cut the pastry in half then cut each half into 10-12 even sized sticks.

  8. Place the cheese sticks well apart on a baking paper lined oven tray (you may need 2).

  9. Bake until golden and risen 15- 18 minutes.

  10. Cool before eating.
