Vegemite/Marmite Cheese Scrolls

Makes: 10–12 scrolls
Ingredients
1 sheet Heritage Bakers ready-rolled puff pastry
1 Tbsp Vegemite or Marmite (approx)
80–100 g grated cheese (cheddar or tasty)
Method
Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan 180°C) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Spread Vegemite or Marmite evenly over the pastry sheet.
Sprinkle grated cheese over the surface, reaching the edges.
Roll up the pastry tightly from one side to form a log.
Cut into 10–12 even slices and place cut side up on the prepared tray.
Bake for 15–18 minutes, or until golden, puffed, and the cheese is bubbling and oozy.
These are delicious warm and just as delicious cold.
Tip: These scrolls can be made ahead and frozen unbaked. Simply thaw slightly, then bake straight from frozen until golden.
